The basic premise of this novel comes from Isaiah 57:1 which says that the righteous will be taken away and no one will understand. Then I took Revelation literally as a timeline. Hint: that puts the rapture after the first big earthquake, but still before the last seven years.
It’s a powerful look at what might really happen to a pastor and her husband (and their small church) from Santa Fe when it all starts falling apart. It’s a convincing look at an alternative ending that still fulfills scripture.
