This is Christian fantasy at its best. The thinness of the first book is fleshed out in this one. The characters develop true character. The times are desperate and holding on to their trust in the Lord is the only reasonable course of action.
Love appears and it is wonderful and horribly painful. The relationships between friends matures. Old enemies find forgiveness and hope. You’ll love the reality laced with love and hope that permeates this book.
