The Fire: We are becoming His
Today I want to talk about Reality Calling & it’s parent, Radiqx Press
This has been a long journey. It’s all about coming to know Jesus and my place in the Kingdom. This post came about because of a book published by Two Trees Ministry given to me by Tim Côté [the man the Lord introduced to me at ACX to narrate my audio books]. Two Trees is a ministry of him and his wife, Carolyn. The book is Golden Grain with teachings from John Wright Follette. The first teaching in the book is about the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. It touched me deeply, because it explains what I have been going through for the last decade—and what we are all going through.
We are becoming, not doing!
This is a major revelation for me. Not that it’s new, for it’s something the Lord has been making clear to me for several years. No, this is something which is true for all of us. It’s the core of our discipleship and discipline from The Holy Spirit. It’s what the Father caused to come into being, and what Jesus executed in His life on our planet, and what the Holy Spirit is doing now. This process began at Pentecost and has been the focus of Jesus ever since. It is the purpose of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
It’s all about who we are
I’ve been particularly dense in these matters. I’ve always focused on what I was doing. Like most creatives, I am run by an internal vision of who I am and what I am supposed to be doing. But I’ve come to realize that I was missing the mark entirely.
The past decade has been about repenting and coming to hear the Lord more clearly as I ask Him, “What do you want me to do?” Of course, I do it in that plaintive whining voice I use so often. My joy is that He knows my heart so well, that He understands the truth of my heart: I want to be like Him.
“John answered them all, “I indeed baptize you with water. But One mightier than I is coming, the strings of whose shoes I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.” Luke 3:16 MEV
Now, don’t get your undies in a bunch. I’m not going to lay some radical Pentecostal doctrine on you. By now, in the 21st century, we have passed beyond that into simply allowing the Holy Spirit free reign [and rein] in our lives. As you know, my guiding scripture is Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit says the Lord. It’s from one of the minor prophets, but I’m not going to bother to look it up for you. You’ve certainly heard it by now.
In John’s book, he says, “The baptism in the Holy Spirit is the dynamic by which the mystical Body of Christ can be formed…”. He goes on to share that today the emphasis of God is getting His Body “ready, shaped up, filled with life, vision, hope, so that He can take her home.” As one who has been used in the prophetic a bit, my spirit bears witness to the truth of this. This is what the Holy Spirit has been teaching me also. I imagine that, if you look, He’s doing the same in your life also.
So, what’s my vision?
I see Radiqx Press, and it’s public voice, Reality Calling, as a ministry to authors called to be part of the harvesting group as we approach the Coming of the King. To do that, we need a radical holiness and a submergence in the Holy Spirit which will cover us with the power to witness to the truth of Jesus, who He is, what he did at the cross by his shed blood.
The other public arm of Radiqx Press is The Skilled Workman sharing a production service for the authors mentioned above, according to their needs. The Skilled Workman is a transliteration of the words used to describe Bezalel and Oholiab in Exodus:
“Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of craftsmanship to devise artistic works for work with gold, with silver, and with bronze, and in the cutting of stones for settings, and in carving of wood, to work in all manner of craftsmanship. I, indeed, I have given him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, and I have given skill to all who are specially skilled, that they may make everything that I have commanded you:” Exodus 31:1-6 MEV
I will be sharing more of the vision over the coming weeks and months. The private leadership group for this venture is the Ruach Battle Group. As I am sure many of you know, Ruach is the Hebrew word for Holy Spirit. That’s what the battle group is about: forming this organ of the body into a fighting, witnessing force in the Final Harvest.
