The delusion of AI and technocracy is hysterical if you know the power of Yeshua and the Holy Spirit. As we learn to deal with all of this, we need to remember that Yeshua’s general idea of a nicely functioning computer system and network is us. His basic coding language on the visible level is DNA. His idea of a personal computer is you.

He lives with 3D reality as a small offshoot of spiritual reality. We barely even understand that. But, we know a few things. For example, when He left for the last time to be seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, He rose straight up in the air and out through outer space under His own power, without a spacesuit. He could walk through walls, and on it goes. I don’t know about you, but I’ve got one of those bodies on order and am simply waiting for the delivery of it.

I agree with Patrick Wood. The entire concept of artificial intelligence is an oxymoron. No machine will ever have intelligence because it is not alive, and I don’t believe Yeshua Messiah will allow that abomination. But even if He does, He can completely control it with no effort expended.

The Lord sits in the heavens and laughs at the fools

I first started dealing with all of this in May of 1991. That’s when I, as an art director of one of the largest commercial printers in Albuquerque, was given the job of taking over the commercial printing program at the 25,000 student technical-vocational institute—Albuquerque T-VI. On day one, I began teaching desktop publishing using PageMaker, Quark, FreeHand, Illustrator, and Photoshop on my immensely powerful Mac IIfx with an incredible 4 MB of RAM. As you can imagine, I was a little over my head. I’d never touched a computer before.

Shortly after that, I got into what I saw as a major problem which was totally beyond me. I panicked, of course. Somehow, in the midst of the panic, I asked Jesus to help me. Shortly after that, I suddenly knew what to do and the problem was completely solved. I knew it was from the Lord. So, I talked it out with Him. The result was that He showed me, in my mind, a comparison between the complexity of the brain and the simplicity of the computer. It was like comparing a skyscraper to a Tinker Toy building.

Then He made an offer that changed my life. He gave me the faith to see that I could trust Him as my IT Director, and that He would keep my computers running. That was my first glimpse of the delusion of AI and technocracy. Since that time I have purchased hundreds of computers, printers, networks, and all the rest. I had one problem. I had just bought enough of those iMacs that looked like a hemisphere sitting on the desktop with the monitor on an articulated pole. One of them wouldn’t work. So, I called Apple and the next morning a man came out with a new power supply and fixed it in a couple of minutes.

Hundreds of times, I would get into a severe problem, and He would either show me what to do or sovereignly fix the problem. I’ve lived with that as part of my faith reality since the summer of 1991. If you are interested in that saga, my bio covers the basics. But that is outside the scope of what I want to share this morning. Here’s the type of thing I’m working with now.

AI and transhumanism are part of the technocracy delusion

The Lord has told me clearly that these widely feared developments are still in the Tinker Toy class of computers when compared to His design and creation of the universe. I have no doubt that He can contain a nuclear explosion in the cup of His Hands and simply snuff it out. Whether He’ll actually do it, I do not know.

This entire conceptual process of the technocrats is a piffle to Him. Foolish nonsense. It’s merely a different attempt at the Tower of Babel. Compared to His plan for remodeling the planet within the next decade [probably], these ego-maniacs are like kids playing in a sandbox. You need to remember that we are living in a disposable universe which will be dissolved a thousand years from now and completely recreated. As a mental exercise, imagine what He is going to have to do to make a place to live that can handle a city that is fifteen hundred miles wide, deep, and tall. Big changes.

Satan’s still pushing the lies he fed to Nimrod. He can’t even get things underway until the Lord pulls us out of here. The Holy Spirit within us is restraining it and will not allow anything untoward to happen until Yeshua Messiah’s Bride is safe and with Him forever.

Relax! He’s got it all under control. He is trustworthy.
