Review: Crossover by John C. Dalglish
A fun & suspenseful mystery [if you like that kind of thing]
In general, I don’t. But the story brought me in and it was a pleasant ride. The characters were believable and, just as important, likable. The bad guys were a bit pitiful, and here comes the first rub.
This is so far beyond Biblical, that it approaches pure fantasy. However, spiritual possibility aside, the characters were believers and realistic. This is not a bible-thumping, preaching book. It’s a PI story and a fairly good one, if I am any judge. To my knowledge, the spiritual scenario is not possible—even remotely. However, once you get past that, the story is told well.
I’ll give it 4 stars, and a wink. This is not edifying, it’s just a story.
