A new standalone novel, Life Breath Amusement, was released on Thanksgiving 2024 through Kindle and D2D. This tale is birthed out of the memories of the thirties during the Great Depression where Judy Garland, Fred Astaire, and their cohorts solved problems with a joyful, “I know! Let’s do a show!”
Of course, it can be argued that the Great Tribulation is orders of magnitude worse than the Great Depression. All that means is we need a much better show today. Life Breath Amusement is exactly that—a glorious show led by the Lord of lords and King of kings.
The characters of this show are delightful believers keeping occupied until He comes. Walking in the Spirit is their norm—walking in power, joy, and love. Their trust of their Lord and King is deep and experienced—though many are newly reborn. They know who they trust because He delivered them from a crisis nearing catastrophe.
The Lord has given them a current version of a renaissance village full of creative saints ready to radically obey Yeshua Messiah as they produce works with power embedded by the Holy Spirit within. But the real power of the village is produced by the strong Presence of the Lord saturating the breath they breathe.
Kåre and Lyla Bjørge are working far over their heads, enabled by their faith in Jesus of Nazareth. He sovereignly called them into the position they are living out day to day. They are the creative leaders of the entire operation and they really have no idea what they are doing. But they know Who does.
They are determined to keep themselves clean and holy, by His grace, so that He can freely work through them. That is what is required, and that is what they do. It’s not about their strength and virtue. It’s about the Lord’s grace and love.
The joy of doing what Yeshua calls you to do!

Why I wrote this book
To lighten things up: and to give us all hope.
Every since I read Late Great Planet Earth shortly after I meet Jesus in January 1974, my prayer has been that I would get to see the end of the church age. What a joy it is for me. It’s truly a treat to watch Yeshua Messiah keep everything in faith for us believers.
I was pretty much convinced we were getting out of here this past October 2, but my Lord’s plans are a delicate, intricate joy to observe. It’s now a week since I finished the book and we are in the throes of ceasefire forced upon Israel by Joe and crew. Hurricane Helene certainly showed us how the Lord felt about the machinations of Biden, Harris, and Blinken. But then Katrina wasn’t seen for what it was either—coming just after Bush pushed Israel out of Gaza.
Those of us focused on discipleship while we live quietly, mind our own business, and work with our hands aren’t often seen. This was the advice of Paul in First Thessalonians just before he shared about the Rapture. We don’t get much coverage in the church.
The evangelical megachurches suck up most of that. Their work is important. But, for me, my focus is on caring for people in the church who need help adjusting to the new realities of post-birth abortions, gender fluidity, absurd debt levels, and all the rest.
Almost no one is teaching how to live in power
in our daily lives as we witness by the life we live.
So, I felt compelled to write a joyful book about people who live like that, and the Lord approved. Since I’m an artist, writer, designer, my characters tend to live lives like that as well. I’m able to share how I cope during this time. With fifty years in the Lord, He’s shown me a lot. This is how I live, day to day.
It was a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy it as well.
