The Tarskyne Cabal Series is the first series of the Fortresses of the Messiah saga. The saga is the fictional output resulting from the intensive discipline and discipleship training that the Lord blessed me with from January 2020 through the end of 2025. It was six years which transformed my life after my wife, Patricia, died in December 2019. I turned to the Lord in my grief. He responded with love and power. I’m grateful.
The entire saga ended up teaching me what I now call the Philosophy of Biblical Reality. My King transformed my life for the better. It has been the best time of my life. The is a radical, complex tale designed to show you how Yeshua Messiah hopes we will live.
The Lord used this to teach me more clearly how we are supposed to live in the Kingdom of God. It is an entertaining, time of being overwhelmed, engaged, overcome with joy, surprised, delighted, and amazed at the power of the Lord—if you just relax and follow Him by His Holy Spirit.
The Lord is looking for some people to help Him fix a problem in New Mexico.
The tale begins like a thriller as the Lord enables His people to completely thwart a major assault on Albuquerque by a demonic occult group out of Scotland. They claim to be dedicated to keeping the work of Aleister Crowley alive. It seems to be tied into the woke agenda of the radical left, but they take things much further than that. But let’s not spoil the tale.
In a very real way, this tale is an edifying and joyful look at the practicalities of working under the anointing of God in your daily life. They are shared by an author who has been walking in this manner with our Messiah for over fifty years.
One aspect of these tales is seen in the feel-good movies of the thirties. “Let’s do a show!” This is fiction that escapes into joy. These stories are meant to lift you up and fill you with joy. The walk with Jesus is under an easy, light yoke of love and satisfaction. It’s sad to see how many people (and I was certainly one of them) allow circumstances to drive them away from the freedom and power of the walk in the Holy Spirit.
This story is about a series of Jesus’ amazing works, that the Lord has asked His people to walk in. But, for the people He calls to do these things, they are some of the deepest desires of their heart. They are works which the church doesn’t even consider, because they seem too extravagant. Jesus constantly leads them further, with great joy, fervent worship, and a lot of humor.

Ancient Evil Arrives
It begins in Albuquerque when the Lord speaks to a non-believing college freshman graphic designer having trouble staying awake in his parent’s church. Shocked the Hell out of him—literally. The Lord’s plans are amazing. The first lesson is learning to see beyond Tarskyne, the demon-driven group from Scotland already mentioned. They are promoting doing whatever you will, with chaos and terror. But in the scheme of things, they were a small problem. The Lord uses our spiritual enemy for training. He laughs at their schemes. Satan’s on a short leash.
Called to combat the evil behind the riots
The invisible warfare becomes apparent. It’s not the donkey versus the elephant. All the people seem to be mere pawns in the epic battle. But the Messiah has had enough—in Albuquerque in the near future. He wants some of His people to directly battle the enemy. With the apostate church, people like that are exceedingly rare. But He has been watching a young man who might be willing.
The Lord speaks to Denzell Trujillo, a Hispanic/Afro-Caribbean college freshman, during church. He thought it was audible, though no one else heard the voice. But he knows what he heard and he does what the Lord asks him to do. Once he’s safely born of God, the Lord shows him Tarskyne, an evil group behind the vicious riots.
But all that Denzell knows is that he feels called to pray for Raquel, a young waitress who served his meal in a posh restaurant. Things begin change when he discovers Raquel is working for Tarskyne. But, he’s told to continue to pray for her.
Then, Jesus has him rescue Raquel. It shocks both of them with the need to keep their relationship holy. They find out what that demonic group is really like. Their method is to cause chaos, on purpose. A group so evil that they’ll kill a young man just to get the students angry enough to do what is needed. Their work begins to have real meaning.
These are believers of a type you’ve not seen before in fiction, simply realistically obeying the Lord as He asks them to trust Him for incredible things. It’s a joyful, edifying, uplifting tale, yet genuinely realistic. His power is astonishing.
Are some of the choices to obey difficult? Of course. But, the presence of the Lord and His clear voice solve that problem—like they have for the author for nearly fifty years. These stories show you how to hear and obey—thereby receiving an amazingly wonderful, satisfying life. That’s what the walk of faith has always been, if you hear and obey.
Diné Finds Blessing
Tired of the continual horrid news?
This second story in the Tarskyne Cabal series might have you on the edge of your seat cheering. It goes far beyond simply thwarting evil. In this story, Denzell and Raquel Trujillo are used to transform an entire town. It’s truly a joy you will wish had really happened.
The company birthed in Ancient Evil Arrives discovers that the evil behind the violence is working globally. They are deeply tied into the Swamp, but what is this mayor of a small city in southwestern Utah? He’s clearly deep into this work of subverting political power. Tue and Freau Trujillo become deeply concerned by the young Diné women disappearing off the Res —the Navajo Nation. No one seems to care. As usual, they turn to the only One with real power and ask for help.
Notah Begay is simply depressed, and that’s not like him. Like his father, Bebe, he’s a loose and free, old-school Navajo warrior—an increasingly irrelevant type of human. He and the young people his age are consumed with getting high, getting laid, and avoiding reality. The girls will do anything to find someone to take care of them. Life is simply too painful. But the Lord calls him out of his depression. Notah is hired by Ascended Light to get to the bottom of things.
Haloke, a young Navajo orphan abused by two of her many foster fathers, in desperation escaped from her painful life determined to make a way for herself. But she was completely unequipped to resist the charms of Ahiga Tl’izilani. She’s an excellent recruiter for the young women desperate enough to do anything to bring themselves support and security. But, Ahiga has a horrible reputation for good reasons.
She discovers she’s trapped in a snare for which she volunteered. Her demonic minder makes increasingly terrifying demands for control. Clearly the Lord is not without a plan. But where it ends up is a true surprise for everyone. The blessings are without precedent in a nation struggling to simply survive.

Do you long for something good?
How about replacing our chaotic reality with something good? Is that even possible these days? Of course! If you’ll listen to the Lord Jesus and believe what He says, He’ll do that in your life—even if you’re a seriously messed up artist.
Ascended Light Design is a company put together by the Lord to deal with specific issues. To do that all he needs are people who will hear Him and follow His lead. Jesus has won two substantial battles in the first two stories in this series. This one will build you up also.
This new tale starts with Eloy de Salas, a talented pansexual artist. His gallery is on Canyon Road in Santa Fe—considered one of the top fine art centers in the world. He’s doing well, making a good living using focused debauchery as art. But then he sees a slogan for a gallery show that stops him in his tracks. His intellectual construct disintegrates before his eyes. What is he going to do now? Jesus tells him that he can find the answers he seeks at Ascended Light.
On the other hand is Haseya, one of the beautiful demon-possessed Diné trophy wives from book two. Haseya asked for her demon and is completely controlled by it. Hope is not an option for her.
She was purchased by a political power monger in Santa Fe, who uses her for dispensing favors to lust-driven politicians to get laws passed for that evil group out of Scotland behind the whole mess. He has a prominent gallery on Canyon Road, simply as a money-maker. His multiple demons can let him know who the next fashionable artists are—well before the rest of the world is told.
The Lord has plans for both of them, and they don’t have a clue. But He has His ways. He snares Eloy with his own mind. Once Eloy is His, he leads him on a path resulting in strong intercession for Haseya. His whole world has been turned around, and now he has to befriend and pray for the most beautiful woman he has ever seen? What could go wrong with that? I mean, he’s a righteous believer now, right?
Canyon Road Warfare
Finally, the enemy attacks
Well, you knew it had to happen. These wonderful uplifting stories had to come to a screeching halt. But, the secret almost no one knows (because Hollyweird has been selling lies) is that the enemy is really quite pathetic when compared to Jesus and the Holy Spirit. This story is just as uplifting, joyful, and satisfying as the first three in the series.
This new tale starts with Jasmin Wildhorse, the widow of a maniacal Comanche prophet. She is living in a demon-infested mansion with people involved with an occultic variation of the Native America Church, called Half Moon+. They use a magic mushroom liqueur instead of peyote to access demonic power. The Lord sovereignly speaks to Jasmin, while she’s under severe demonic attack, showing her the way out. He sends her to a meeting in Eloy and Haseya’s home. There she meets Jesus and ends up a new creation working at the gallery. Her walk of faith begins.
She finds herself becoming a close friend of William, the anointed artist-in-residence. Surprised by the Lord, she ends up working in the marketing office, in charge of the Website and online marketing. At her wedding with William, two of the people from Half Moon+ show up to cause chaos. One of them is Bimisi, the Jicarilla Apache medicine man who sicced the demon on her.
The other, Maria Aragón, sees her way out of that mess, and turns to the Lord. That tips Half Moon+ into attempting to destroy the gallery. One thing about spiritual warfare that’s not understood is that the world doesn’t even notice it happening right in front of their eyes. But nasty as it gets, the demons don’t stand a chance with believers walking in faith, following Jesus.
You get to discover that winning spiritual battles is the same as anything else in the Kingdom of God. If you listen to, and have faith in the One who truly has the power, your life will be amazing. William and Jasmin discover that joy, so will you.
