Written by my wife, Patricia: As a long time reader of most of Beverly’s books, I found Tinderbox exceptionally warm and suspenseful. The characters are well developed and compelling. The plot was complex and intriguing. I could not figure it out early, and I usually can.

The spiritual content was typical for Amish books. I wish it were bolder, but that wouldn’t be real for the culture.
