The last Rosh Hashanah arriving this year?
Is The last Rosh Hashanah arriving this year? Every year I wonder. This year it seems more likely. If you wonder what the heck am I talking about, it’s simply about the importance of Jewish feasts.
Jesus fulfilled Passover and First Fruits on Passover and first fruits. Shavuot , or the giving of the Law, was fulfilled by the giving of the Holy Spirit on that holiday—which we now call Pentecost. The three Fall feasts are yet to be filled: Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Tabernacles.
We know that Tabernacles will be fulfilled when our Messiah, Yeshua, is seated on the throne in Jerusalem. All nations will be required to observe it in the Millennium.
Is the last Rosh Hashanah arriving this year?
I believe that Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets, and Yom Kippur, the day of Atonement, will be fulfilled by the snatching up of the church and the final seven year Tribulation before Jesus comes as King.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore, comfort one another with these words. [NASB I Thess 4: 16-18]
The events in I Thessalonians are commonly shared as talking about the Last Trump, the Last Trumpet, the final blast of the shofar at the Feast of Trumpets. The birth pangs are getting so rapid and strong that this really could be the year we hear that longed-for trumpet blast. It’s on Labor Day this year. Will it finally be the day we cease our labors? May it be so.
