Maintain your focus on Jesus
Maintain your focus on Jesus more than ever as the time of the Gentiles draws to a close. We all need to be doing what the Lord is asking us to do in this hour of worldly confusion and panic.
We need to be islands of peace and joy in the midst of all the flailing about. Nothing has changed for us. This was all foretold. It will all be obvious in retrospect—though when we’re with the Lord forever, the tiny issues down here in Satan’s world system will probably not even be worth a chuckle.
Maintain your focus on Jesus to be fruitful
Remember, those who don’t believe are rapidly running out of time. Once the final seven years begins it’s going to get unbelievably rough. Remember also, that only those who are born again and know Jesus will escape the Wrath which is coming.
I don’t care what your church says. The Bible says, “You must be born again,” in John 3. Jesus said that personally to Nicodemus. The knowing Jesus portion is best explained by Jesus talking about religiously active people when they are begging to be let in, “Depart from me, evil doer. I never knew you.” MATTHEW 7: 23
The time for quibbling and pussyfooting around is over. It’s become life or death. It always has been, but now the opportunity could be gone in the very near future.
You need to get your life cleaned up, so you can hear the Lord when He asks you to do something. Every morning ask the Lord if any sin has crept back into your life. If it has—repent, ask forgiveness, and you’re free to hear Him much more easily. Plus, the prayers of a righteous one avail much. Pray while you are clean, it will have much effect.
Here’s my drawing from a while back:
Thanks, Ginny
I hope it is. I think that unless you are reborn and know Him, you may miss the rapture. And I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
Good words, David. It’s getting much harder for people to sit on the fence, for sure.
