The marvel of Christian marriage
The marvel of Christian marriage was designed by the Lord to be the center of civilization. It’s amazing how much effort Satan has put into ruining it. My fiction is full of couples being put together by the Lord—often very quickly. They are the reasons why the Lord can get so much done in my fictional version of contemporary America.
In proofing my most recently released book, I ran across this quote. I think you’ll enjoy it…
The marvel of Christian marriage is incredible
Germaine, the spiritual director of the school is meeting with a new couple in their late fifies, Lukas and Asáli–who the Lord had put together the day they met each other.

The three of them were having a wonderful time. It was exhilarating to see how the Lord was moving so openly on behalf of Lukas’ and Asáli’s new ministry. The two of them had started out by sharing how the Lord had convinced them to move into the living quarters.
Germaine had responded by showing them they had been working together as God had designed marriages to work. “You will discover that each of you has a special thing to do in your marriage. It’s a holy relationship, structured as the Lord has designed it. It has nothing to do with the man lording it over his wife, or the wife meekly groveling as she serves her master. You both have a great part of this new being the Lord is creating. The two of you as one, a married couple as a special being in the Kingdom here on Earth.
“Basically, the man charged with learning how to be responsible. The woman is charged with enabling him to do that. God Almighty meant it when He said, ‘It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.’ It has nothing to do with individual worth. It’s a divine relationship, built by God to be the center of civilization.
“There’s a reason why the world system is so strongly against marriage and gender identity. Satan needs to destroy marriage. Each one is to be a solid rock built into the foundation of civilization. It’s one of the reasons why the Lord set it up to pull us all out of here, before the Great Tribulation of Revelation.
“You, Lukas, are charged with enabling your woman to blossom and reach her potential, as God reveals it to her. You, Asáli, are given the task of interceding for your man and building him up so he can do what the Lord has asked him to do. Each of your jobs are impossible without the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Before I met the Lord I had a heathen, hippie marriage which ended in divorce. After I met the Lord, he gave me an amazing woman, called to be a pastor. It was really a delight.
