Review: Two Hunters, Riesel Tales by Pruitt Roystonn
I’m supposed to be impressed–didn’t happen
That’s two in a row, but Arena is a much better book. Arena has a solid Christian allegory going, though there’s no savior. Reisel Tales had nothing spiritual at all. I think I was supposed to be impressed by the witticisms. I wasn’t. I wasn’t bored, hence the three stars. However, there’s no there there—no content, no wisdom, no truth, just blithering worldly entertainment. It was sold to me as the output of a Christian author. He kept that fact well hidden.
It’s wildly alien, violent, dirty, nasty, worldly entertainment. I think I might see it someday on USA.
