After the first book, where I was stunned by the concept and enthralled by the spiritual content, this book is back to reality. It reads more like a dystopian survivalist story. But it is still very good work, and develops the characters much further.

They all grow because of it. It’s not nearly as exciting as book #1. But it’s still very good.
