I have to count this urban fantasy as one of the best books I have ever read. The reality of the relationship with Jesus is compelling and stunning. It’s something I’ve longed for ever since I came to the Lord. It’s my best anticipation of Heaven.

Why is it so good?

Because it shows reality—how Jesus transforms a life if you let Him. The woman in her 70s has no idea how much she built barriers around herself. She’s not even aware of the pain—justified or not, which she’s carrying. Then Jesus shows up, in the flesh, for weeks. What a joy it is to read and watch the transformation.

The characters are varied, complex, and realistic. The realities of living in your seventies is shared openly without guile. I refuse to spoil it any further.

Spiritually, it’s a solid five-star

Jesus is real, active, and effortlessly working with power. This is what I experience shared better than I ever could.
