Ain’t He cute! Not!

This year as I wish you a Merry Christmas I want you to think of what really happened. This cute little baby was opening of the battle to bring down the enemy of all believers. Bringing down the creep — Yeah!

The Spirit has really touched me this year about the fact that the baby wasn’t cute—He is the opening salvo in an amazingly wise plan to bring down Satan legally and above board. God remains just and righteous. He couldn’t allow the enemy a legal loophole.

What was needed was a pure, spotless human who could reverse the legal claims Satan had because of Adam’s sin. Only a sinless human could do that—and the creep had no idea what was coming.

Bringing down the creep — finding the joy of the season

This all resulted in what Jesus told us just before he was killed:

“I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 MEV

This is why He came—in addition to redeeming us.

For this purpose the Son of God was revealed, that He might destroy the works of the devil. I John 3: 8b MEV

What wonderful news! The world system has been destroyed

No, we don’t see it yet. But the entire system is bankrupt and falling. It will be done in entirety very soon. Worldly education, entertainment, government, and the economy will be gone—soon! There will be an entirely new system in the millennium. For we have a righteous King, who will rule wisely and lovingly—with a rod of iron. It will certainly be glorious. I can hardly wait! What a day that will be.
