Not until the fruits of the Renaissance turned many secular thinkers, educators, and scientists away from a literal biblical teaching in secular education was this ever a problem for the church. IN the new millennium, we tend to forget how severely the Renaissance was focused as an attack on the church and God. As the church was growing and strengthening in the Reformation, the world at large in Europe was going toward the any source but the Bible approach we now see in our schools.

The biblical account was accepted by all believers from the beginning of creation to the mid-1800s, when the religious teaching of modernism came into play. This extension of humanism, armed with the misapplication of hermeneutics, was the basis to give it credibility, however faint. Be wise! God always keeps a choice before us, waiting to see which choice we will make. Read and ask the Lord about Deuteronomy 13.

The atheist is bearing false witness against God, His works of creation, and what His Word declares as truth, according to Romans 1:18-19.
